Hi, so that I can choose an appropriate prayer path to explore during lent as part of 'the Desert Files', could someone please elucidate what Centering Prayer, Ignatian Visualisation, Lectio Divinia and Body Prayer practices are or direct me to where I can find this information?

Hi John,
if you go to the 'welcome to the desert files' page on the site, scroll to point three, and click the 'prayer paths' link (which is in purple lettering), that will give you an overall intro. If you then click on the individual links (the names of the different prayer types are links), that will take you to pages where you get step by step instructions and guidance. These instruction pages will be updated throughout Lent, and if you subscribe to them you will be informed when the updates happen.
